BWA reimagined the hotel tower with a refined, nature-inspired renovation that honors tribal heritage and deepens the property's connection to its Pacific Northwest setting

BWA’s renovation of the hotel tower at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort delivered a sophisticated and immersive guest experience that reflects Suquamish Tribe culture and the region’s natural beauty. The design team curated a palette of custom furniture, fabrics, and lighting infused with rustic textures and tones drawn from the resort’s signature exterior color scheme.

Inside the guestrooms, tribal artwork takes center stage. BWA collaborated with a renowned Salish weaver to create custom-designed wall hangings and blankets, adding tactile richness and cultural authenticity to each room. The original live-edge headboards were carefully preserved and integrated into the new design—an environmentally responsible solution that also reinforces the resort’s identity. The corridors and public areas were refreshed with finishes reminiscent of the forests, waterways, and coastal textures of the Pacific Northwest.

Throughout the renovation, BWA worked closely with the Suquamish Tribe to ensure that the design not only enhances guest comfort, but also celebrates the Tribe’s heritage through restored and reframed archival photographs and curated art installations.
