The Snoqualmie Tribe wished to construct a great lodge, with venues and amenities typically found at Las Vegas Strip hotels.
The challenge was to create the fun and exciting atmosphere of a Strip casino with a decidedly Northwest flavors. BWA designed the exterior and carried the theme inside with some early design mood sketches. Thereafter, BWA worked jointly with the interior designer to complete the concept. The Porte Cochere frames a tranquil water feature, which belies the excitement that awaits upon entry into the Casino. Natural vegetation was preserved as much as possible. Low-intensity, natural lighting was provided to minimize impact on the residential neighbors.
