As part of Caesars Entertainment’s ongoing transformation of its flagship Las Vegas property, BWA provided architectural and planning services for the dramatic renovation of the main entrance, lobby, and elliptical casino dome at Caesars Palace. Originally constructed in the 1960s, the entryway had long served as the symbolic and functional heart of the resort—connecting guests to every major amenity, from hotel towers and gaming to dining and entertainment.

The 34,000 square feet renovation encompassed removing original structure and more than doubling the ceiling height, preserving the property's iconic identity, and creating a branded, photo-worthy arrival experience that feels unmistakably Caesars Palace. BWA responded with a design that blends grandeur and modernity.

Just beyond the entry, BWA preserved and enhanced the elliptical casino dome, a sacred architectural element made famous in film and television. While its scale and form remained untouched, the dome now features a larger crystal chandelier weighing 3,200 pounds, along with energy-efficient LED lighting, reimagined carpet, and updated wall and ceiling treatments.

To support guest flow and gaming operations, BWA also introduced two new state-of-the-art gaming pits and a satellite bar adjacent to the existing Lobby Bar—expanding capacity while maintaining the resort’s signature ambiance. Throughout the renovation, careful planning ensured minimal disruption to guests, preserving the seamless experience expected at Caesars Palace.
