Nestled along the scenic shores of Lake Charles, L’Auberge Casino Resort is a fully operational riverboat casino designed to deliver a seamless and immersive guest experience. BWA guided the resort’s phased development with a focus on regional authenticity, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability.
Inspired by the vibrant Southern landscape and culture, BWA’s design evokes a sense of charm and comfort while meeting the demands of a high-volume hospitality destination. The resort’s layout encourages fluid movement between its floating gaming floor—required by Louisiana gaming regulations—and land-based offerings.
The floating casino features 73,200 square feet of gaming space. On-land amenities include a 26-story hotel tower with 995 guest rooms and suites, designed for phased expansion; 26,000 square feet of flexible convention center space; a recreational pool deck with a lazy river, beach pool, and secluded villa buildings designed as private retreats for VIP guests; a golf clubhouse that complements the main resort architecture and overlooks the resort’s 18-hole golf course ten dining outlets; and a luxury spa.
